Land east of St Chad’s Drive, Kirkby

We wanted you to be among the first to know of our emerging plans for high quality, low maintenance private apartments exclusive to people over 60 on land east of St Chad’s Drive in Kirkby.

The proposals represent the redevelopment of brownfield land. The site used to house the St Chad’s clinic and has more recently been used as a temporary car park for Kirkby town centre. The proposals will complement the transformation of the town centre, which is underway as part of a multi-million pound regeneration programme being driven by the Council. The proposals therefore accord with the Council’s Local Plan.

We are working closely with the Council to ensure that any development is the right fit for the local community. After many months of collaborative work, this brings a new and exciting stage in this important scheme’s development, and we recognise that as a local resident, you might wish to be involved in the consultation process.
